hi ya,

Well the good news is that Sister Harun is feeling a lot better so that's good! We got out a little bit this past week but this week we will get back into our normal routine! I am excited to do that. I am ready to get out, and the weather isn't so dark all the time now so that has been a real blessing. It has been cold but the gloves help so I am grateful for them. It's about time that I get some new boots because the leather ones are completely warn out and the other cheap ones just hurt my feet so if I can find some good ones for cheap I might get them. If not I will just continue to wear what I have.

On Saturday one of our former investigators Michael called us and said that he wanted to come back to church and start meeting with us again. So that was a big miracle and a blessing. We were only going to schedule an appointment with him if he showed commitment and he did,  he came to church so we had a lesson with him last night. I don't really know what's going on half the time tho because he speaks Malay and very little English. But it's really good for Sister Harun to teach in her language.

Sister Harun and I both had to give a talk yesterday in church. Her's was really good and I felt good about mine. I am just glad that it's overwith haha. I am not a fan of giving talks at all. The topic was How I Became Converted to the Gospel. So it was a really good sacrament. Basically just a testimony meeting really. But it was fun to be able to talk about things that contributed to my testimony. It was cool because the week before I made a list of experiences that I gained my testimony from. It was good.

Other than that not much happened. Jo Meacham said thanks for the email and she will email you when she gets more time. Thanks for doing that Mom. Also I want to keep all of the letters that have been mailed to me in the post but I want to send them home because they take up a lot of room in my luggage so do you think it's ok if I post them home? :) just a little bit at a time?

Also because my camera broke there may not be pictures for awhile!;(
  I haven't gotten any of the post yet. I suspect I will get some today and whatever you sent to the temple I will get on Thursday because we have a zone conference. Iam glad cheryl is there safe :) and your stand in your room is really cute. I want to see pictures of the rest of your room.

Hello,

Sister Harun is still so sick but it is getting a little bit better! she has an infection but she got some antibiotics and they are starting to kick in a bit. So hopefully we can go out this week and get some work done. haha and so i got a lot more studying done but i also slept a bit also. not too long because then i wouldn't be able to sleep at night but there just isn't a lot to do when you are stuck in the flat so long. It gave me a chance to rededicate myself tho and just to remember why i am here. It's not for me it's for the Lord and His work. I have about 7 months and i want to just wooooork!

It sounds like you had a pretty good birthday! i am glad! luckily i was able to not think about your birthday or the wedding because it would have made me sad. Especially because i was in the flat but Heavenly Father definitely gave me strength to get thru last week. i am trying so hard to forget myself and not to be homesick and it is finally paying off! so i am more than grateful. i am starting to love it more and more. Sometimes i wonder if sis h was sick so that i could have some time to sort myself out. i feel horrible that she is sick but grateful for the time i have had.

About the ctr rings.. i haven't given them away because we haven't baptized since you sent them so i will keep them because i want to give them away! also we did get the ctr necklaces! thank you very much they were cute! :) and also i got like a 6 page letter from you but it was a few weeks ago and i loved it and read it all the time haha. i don't know if that's the one that you were talking about.

Also this week even tho sis h was sick we went out for a bit on friday and taught a lady named marie. she is cool and she is from africa and speaks french. we have taught her twice and she came to church yesterday so that is really good and she is progressing really well. we are both excited that we finally have someone solid :)

but other than that that is about all that happened this week. :) we ate a lot of fish so that was delicious cause members brought it to sis h cause that is all she wanted. also could you please get me the hamiltons address please? :)

It's snowing today but it's not sticking but it is freezing! all last week while we were inside it was so sunny and nice and now it is cold and dark hhaha. oh well. :) also how is your back doing mom? hope it's better.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are good this week! minus the fact that Sister Harun has been soooooooo ill! We have been in the flat since Friday and she just isnt getting better. We took her to the doctor yesterday but they just said it was a mix between the flu and a cold. She started eating a little bit again yesterday afternoon and started to feel a bit better but then she felt horrible again last night. She still doesn't feel good. The doctor told her to get lots of rest so hopefully she will get better soon. She had a blessing but she might need another one. So I have had a lot of time to study and that part has been good. I finished the Doctrine and Covenants so that was way cool. We have been watching lots of church history movies and just trying to get Sister Harun to feel better. So that was basically our week.

On Friday we did get a chance to go out and teach and it was a former investigator and the teach went really well. We we are goin to see her again next week. Also we taught another young mum and we are hopefully going to see her again this week. The weather is starting to get a lot better so the work should start to get better as well. Also the kid that came to church last week came again yesterday. We we were not at church cause Sister Harun was way to sick but our ward missionary came to drop some stuff off at the flat and she said that it was such a good lesson in Sunday School for him so things are looking really good with him. He is under 18 and there are strict rules at the school that he is at and so we can't teach him or see him during the week except for Sunday, so our ward mission leader is working on that. But we are seeing a lot of good things happening here so that makes me happy.

Also I knew that you wouldn't wait to open your package haha! but I am glad that you liked everything. It was really cheap to send so it's just the chocolate that makes things so expensive to send. yes please send the card back asap :). We got the valentines cards but haven't got the package yet. We are waiting to open the cards on Valentines day. Also I got your dear elder as well. I loved it. You can use the dragon to write if you want just send a hand written one every once in a while :) haha. Also thank you for telling me that I was skinny haha because I have put on a lot of weight over christmas and it's not good haha. The clothes and stuff you sent are just very flattering on me haha. so I am starting to eat healthy so that I can be more fit and not come home big ahah. That is my worst fear. Also we walk around a ton in this area. I was wondering if you could send me a pedometer so that Ican see how much we walk every day? I don't know how much they are but if they are cheap can you send me one? If not it's no big deal i was just curious :)

I am glad that you got to go to her (Kirsti) endowment! I was sad that I  couldn't be there. Luckily I had lots of studying to occupy my mind so that I didn't think about the baptism and the endowment. I am so glad that Nathan and Dad bore their testimonies. That is so cool. All of you guys are so amazing and I am so proud of all of you. Literally I boast about you guys haha I need to not be so prideful about you guys. Also I love the quote and it's definitely something that I needed. I like the quote thing that you are doing these days! Keep it up! haha

I can't believe how cold it is there oh my lanta and the snow looks so gorgeous!! I love it.
